Luck of the draw. The Pens will get a night off from Ryan Miller tonight. Guins coach, Dan Blysma propped Miller.

"We do prepare for Ryan Miller," Bylsma said. "We also prepare for the other guy, as well. But [Miller] is a big part of their team and one of their best players. So we're going to prepare for seeing him, for sure."

"The other guy", Patrick Lalime, will get the cage tonight, and then again on Monday night in Tronna. Merry Christmas, Mr. Miller. You get two games off to rest your glove hand.

Jay McKee and a couple hand fulls of Guins skated inside the Amherst Pepsi Center on Friday afternoon.

Those that know #74 know him to be a card carrying member of the "Boost Buffalo Club". He played ten years in the Queen City. His wife and her family are Buffalo born, and they still make their home in an eastern burb. Jay told me earlier in the season that he routinely makes the drive from Da Burgh to Buffalo on his off days to see his wife and kids. Attaboy, Jay. You may be gone, but your ten years of excellent service to the community and fans is not forgotten.

Bylsma will likely re-insert Max Talbot back into the Pens lineup tonight. Talbot, the Palyoffs hereo for the Pens last Spring, was scratched twice this week so that knucklechucker, Eric Godard, could punch Riley Cote and the Flyers in the face. The move worked as the Pens won both games.

Don't be surprised to see Patty Kaleta back in the Buffalo lineup tonight.....
