The Sabres are looking to land a scoring centreman.
Will the they invest both first rounders and both second rounders?
Will they trade a first and a second? Will they trade all four of their picks in the top 41 selections?
Thats why we have to watch the NHL Draft.
The Buffalo Sabres on Monday announced the team will host an NHL Draft Party on June 22 at First Niagara Center, beginning at 5 p.m. Fans will be able to watch live coverage of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft while enjoying a night of family-friendly entertainment at the arena.
Coverage of the first round of the draft will be shown on the high-definition video board beginning at 7 p.m. Broadcast personalities from the Sabres will be on hand throughout the night to provide expert analysis and exclusive interviews live from the draft at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
In addition to the draft coverage, the night will feature player autograph sessions, floor hockey events on the arena floor and other activities for the whole family. Fans are reminded that children under the age of 12 will be required to wear a helmet if they want to participate in the floor hockey events.
The Sabres Store will be offering fans a discount of 42 percent off their entire purchase during the draft party. Doors to the Sabres Store will open at 4 p.m. so fans can take advantage of the special sale commemorating the team’s upcoming 42nd season in the NHL.
Additionally, concessions will be available throughout the night at family-friendly prices.
Admission to the draft party is free and the team is also offering complimentary parking in the arena ramp.
