Sunday was an off day. The team will re-group and skate at First Niagara Center on Monday morning.
Ruff will work on systems and special teams for the next two days in prepartion for the face-off with Milan Lucic and the Boston Bruins. There will no doubt be discussions about discipline, team toughness, and sticking up for one another on the ice.
Sabres will be ready to exact revenege on Milan Lucic and the Bruins for the cowardly collision with Ryan Miller.
These two teams have always hated each other. First place in the division will be on the line.
Fans have had it up to hear with all of the talk thats been swirling around that NHL since the 11/12 Lucic hit on Miller that the Sabres are too soft and that they were intimidated by the Bs, so much so that they did not answer the bell.
This will be a glorious opportunity to shut pie holes and to change the perception of the Sabres in the court of public opinion.
