*QUICK HIT RUMORS AS UPDATED ON THE RUMOR CHART:

On the Tribtron. I am still working the phones in an attempt to see if a Game 7 resolution is possible. You all have done an unbelievable job at being heard.

NBC is now trying to pass this off as an NHL issue. IT IS NOT. They tried that with me at first as well.

An NHL source told me the following last night, " NBC has exclusive distribution rights in the United States -- so, absent NBC consent, Detroit doesn't have right to exhibit NBC or CBC feed. as long as NBC refuses to allow this practice, there's not much we can do about it. it certainly wouldn't be fair to Pittsburgh if Detroit did something Pittsburgh was not permitted to do. again, other than acknowledging NBC's legal and contractual rights, this has nothing to do with us."

I am just getting on my flight to Pitt, but I talked to a source who informed me that Brent Sutter is "90% to be the next coach of the Calgary Flames."

What a fantastic move this would be.

I am chasing a rumor that the Canadiens are pursuing the Sedins, and a rumor involving Komisarek to Boston. I will be blogging more before 3pm. I will put up my rumor update at that point.

I will be doing a LIVE Hockeybuzzcast somewhere near where the Tribtron should be tonight around 5pm. I will announce the exact spot by 3 and would love to have as many of you as possible join me to talk about game 6 and be part of the show!

From Last Night..

*QUICK HIT RUMORS AS UPDATED ON THE RUMOR CHART:

Andrew Alberts: He has become very valuable and was really impressive this season as a physical defenseman who can move the puck. Dallas and Philly right now.

Mats Sundin: The Wings and Canucks.

Francois Beauchemin: The Leafs and Kings are added to the list.

Todd Bertuzzi: Still looking at Habs, but Leafs and Devils added...

Mike Cammalleri: A lot changing with Cammalleri. Nashville is the new favorite, but the Isles, Sabres, Sens, are definitely in the mix.

Erik Cole: Feeling that Carolina is a great bet, but add today Blue Jackets, Stars, Ducks...

Greg de Vries: Philly leading the way here, but Montreal, Calgary, Florida....(basically a Jay Bo Domino player that brings a lot)

Marian Gaborik: The Wild are trying to get back in it, but almost everyone agrees he will be a King unless the Kings land Vinny.

Brian Gionta: The Sabres, Canucks, Flames. Gionta is perhaps the real diamond in the ruff of the UFA forwards. What I will tell you is that while Pittsburgh is not in this sweeps yet, I think they could be.

Martin Havlat: He has said on Twitter that he wants to stay in Chicago, but I am hearing the NY Islanders are making a huge push. The Sabres and Caps are as well going to get involved. The Canadiens could aslo see Havlat as a Vinny Lecavalier consolation prize.

Nikolai Khabibulin: The Hawks are getting more interested apparently...The Islanders are also...which is interesting.

Ville Koistinen: Montreal is the sudden player to watch. You all know that I am a HUGE Ville Koistinen fan. I see him much like Kimmo Timonen.

Jere Lehtinen: The Wild are now a team to look at, along with the previous teams.

John Madden: The Canucks are a team now that is in on this HIGHLY valuable player.

Derek Morris: Still leading to the Sens...

Vincent Lecavalier: There is a new leader in this race...

Johnny Oduya: The Leafs are now a player that is added to a growing list

Mattias Ohlund: The Hawks are in on this now, which i know is very odd, but I can only tell you that it points to a trade that could take place at the draft.

Alex Tanguay: Colorado, NJ, Montreal, Atlanta...Tanguay is a great pickup.

I am hearing from sources that Emery is a one year deal...Stay tuned..

On the Tribtron... Let's get it back for game 7!
