Whoever said "go slowly after major surgery" obviously wasn't an NHL Hockey Blogger...

There is a chain reaction rumour that is all the buzz among some of my top sources this morning:

The Sens would grab Khabibulin, make room by sending Spezza to Calgary, and the Hawks would sign Forsberg...All by Thanksgiving.

The only piece that is definitely missing for all of you capologists is "Who is Calgary going to move to make space?" I am working on that piece, but so far, NADA.

I am also working on a trade rumour between Vancouver and Florida (gulp..."what could go wrong there") a Leafs rumour that would bring a player from the Southeast Division that leaves me scratching my head (not Kovy), a Red Wings rumour (yes a RED WINGS RUMOUR) that would move a d-man to Boston, a Rangers rumour that would open up cap space for...oh I don't know, and a Minnesota rumour that would see Gaborik staying put (wait....what?)

I will update throughout the day.

In all seriousness, I am exhausted. I get these few moments after I wake up from frequent power naps when I get some energy. Fortunately my sources are being super helpful and emailing me more info with greater detail than ever before and I have an assistant that is working with me who is doing a hell of a job taking direction and following up with emails and text messages. (probably will keep that part going)

They "tell me" that it takes a good month to get your energy back. For now I can't do stairs, I need to be on my back 80% of the time. I have lost 15 pounds in a week here, down to 188... (best diet EVER) The pain medication (no jokes about where the rumours are coming from...that is so yesterday) is definitely "intriguing" for the moments when I am not fighting the wicked stomach reactions to two powerful anti-biotics designed to not get me "sicker."
