On Toews...
They will deny it until the cows come home ..(and burn down the city....sorry too soon?) BUT Jonathan Toews name is out there and putting the toothpaste back in is NOT an option. The Hawks are thinking BIG changes and the ONLY untouchable is Kane...Montreal has kicked the tires the most, but now I am hearing NJ as well...(cue: "Jonathan Toews is NOT getting Traded" articles...)
On Max Domi...
I am told the Winnipeg Jets are Hot and Heavy for Domi and I just found out they tried to grab Max at the deadline. The Sabres have also expressed some interest..
On JvR....
It is possible I am told that JvR stays and Phil Kessel is moved on, but the person I talked to only gave that about a 15% chance of occurring...The NY Metro area teams seem to have the most interest, and with Lou on the Island this would not shock me at all...
On Noah Hanifin...
I am told that quietly Hanifin may want out and Carolina is exploring this. This is just from a few sources not close enough to the situation at this point. However, regardless of Hanifin's wants, I am told there are two teams who REALLY want him and some in Carolina feel his value will never be higher...Vancouver and Toronto will make a dogfight of this I believe...see the Rumor Chart for more...
On Klefbom...
The Oilers are having "high level discussions" regarding Klefbom and the Anaheim Ducks...no word on any possible return yet...
One Crawford and the Isles...
This is starting to sound VERY possible...Could the Blackhawks be looking at Corey Schneider? That is the speculation right now....and as I said..NJ is entering the Toews talks...
