With only one week to go before the NHL trade deadline, the talk is heating up in the names and the prices are going up!
On Dale Weise....
As a pending UFA, Weise has a ton of value because he has shown himself to be a consistent player and has even had success in the playoffs in the past. So far, I have heard the Rangers, the Devils, and the Predators.
On Hartnell....
As I have written before, the Pittsburgh Penguins have interest in Scott Hartnell and now I am also hearing strong interest coming from the Los Angeles Kings. Scotty also has a playoff history and I fully expect him to be moved.
On Andrew Ladd...
Ladd is quickly becoming one of the most sought after free agents. There are rumors out there that Andrew may be the only free-agent who manages to attract a first-round draft pick. Rangers may be the favorite, but the Ducks and Hawks are also in on Ladd....as is, kind of surprisingly, Chicago.
On Tyler Bozak...
I am hearing a rumor that the Ducks have made a substantial offer for Bozak....stay tuned..
