It is no secret that the the Florida Panthers are sellers in a major way, but one player with a large contract right now who may be surprisingly on the move is Brian Campbell. Campbell is viewed as a quarterback of sorts and is still one of the better transitional defensemen in the game with the ability to start rushes with laser precise passes to speedy forwards...

So it should be no surprise that two of the first names to come up in regards to Campbell would be two teams who could use some help with that first pass themselves...the Red Wings and the Flyers...There are of course huge cap ramifications taking on a contract like Soup's but we will see....

Ryane Clowe is no stranger to the Rumor Mill, as his name seems to come up every year around this time and still to this point he remains ion San Jose. This year looks like it may be a bit more serious though, and the battle for Clowe's services could be fierce between three Northeast Rivals...Boston, Toronto, and Montreal all have interest.

I am also hearing a lot of talk out of LA that the Kings may move a goalie to get the pieces they seek moving forward....more on that later...
