I am finishing up my UFA Goalies/Group VI blog, but these rumors are worth getting out there now:

Circle of Life.... (aka once a duck, always a duck.)

Two days ago a well placed source informed me through a mutual friend that he was hearing Paul Kariya was likely to sign with Anaheim this summer to finish out his career with Teemu Selanne. Started asking around, and last night it was confirmed to me by another source that this was indeed the case. He confirmed hearing Selanne would return for another season and that he would be reunited with Paul Kariya. Therefore, this is the classic E4 rumor. Meaning it comes from two or more sources who are close to the team. Will it happen? Remains to be seen.

Jersey looking to another former Habitante

A source last night informed me he had heard rumblings of Guy Carbonneau being Lou Lamoriello's choice as next Devils coach, and asking around this morning I would definitely put him in the loop.

Gagne playing Friday

That is the word as of 3pm.
