I appears as though the Kaberle to Columbus is not very close to happening. The Canucks may get back involved.

Dubinsky to Ottawa possible for Heatley?

It is possible as rumors of the Rangers getting back into the Heatley saga pick up amazing amounts of steam.

Montreal and San Jose Talks?

They are picking up. The Canadiens have an enormous amount of time into trying to make this deal happen. I am told that had the Canadiens made the deal they were attempting to make last week with Florida the picture would be so much more clear. Unlike others in the media, I am not sold that Marleau is th guy heading to Montreal here.

Could the Oilers sign Zherdev?

It really does appear so. I would put them as the definite favorite right now. Contrary to earlier rumors I am told the Leafs have NO interest in Zherdev.

Kessel and the Canucks.

The Canucks are neck and neck with San Jose right now, while there is a growing group of people inside the Bruins who are hoping to get Kessel to stay.

The Kings and Flyers are apparently talking again.

The Flyers are rumored to have interest in Kings tough guy Raitis Ivanāns.
