Since so much is happening on the phones today, I will be updating this blog bits at a time as opposed to all at once...

* Still tracking the Caps intensely.
* LA, Vancouver, Chicago and Toronto are the teams who appear most seriously gearing up for Nash.
* Montreal is a team that also may be a player for one of the major forwards in this deadline. They are trying to move some guys, but also are not afraid to be buyers I am told. Look to Carter and Nash. Not UFAs like Parise or Semin.
* The Sabres are very interested in the King's Dustin Brown and have had discussions regarding the matter.
* The Wings may try to move on Semin before any of the other big players get dealt, but otherwise I say the first domino to start a reaction will be Nash.
* The Oilers are not opposed to bringing back Sutton and the Canes would sign Ruutu to an extension before trading him below market.
