It is looking more and more like Vanek could be sticking around for a bit in Buffalo. Interest is there from NJ, Minnesota, and Phoenix, but the price is still prohibitive.
On Grabovski
I finally added Grabovski to the Chart today because up until this point it was almost impossible to get a feel for the teams REALLY interested. NJ and Washington are what I would call the "favorites," but the longer this stretches out many I talk to feel Winnipeg (there are no shortage of Ukrainians in Manitoba) and Columbus become major factors...along with a possible 1 year deal in Russia.
On Brunner...
NJ (see the trend here) is still considered the best bet here, but Winnipeg, Toronto and Washington need be considered...as well as a possible return to Detroit.
On Brad Boyes
The Isles are trying to sign him, but Vancouver is making some noise here...as are, to a much lesser extent, the Blues...
On Hainsey...
Perhaps the best deal on D out there, Hainsey definitely still battles a PR situation post lockout...which really isn't fair at this point. Carolina has the most interest but is also still holding out for Jagr. Columbus, very solid on D already, could be another option...as could Nashville or Washington.
On Scott Gomez
Once the Devils situation settles and they plug holes don't be shocked to see Gomez return to where it all began for him.
