SO sorry for the delay in this decision. The Holidays and family hit harder than ever this year and I really liked taking my time and going through the many comments...
Here are my favorites...
First off:
Hats off to Delios001 who acted nicely as a Montreal rep in these negotiations.... He started things off extremely well with his asking price... Delios001: "As the Montreal GM, you want a true #1 centre, a lefthanded defensemen, your #1R pick 2018 & your #2R pick 2018."
The other thing that really impressed me about this thread was all the offers made by readers for teams which aren't their #1 team. Just a lot of good hockey minds out there.
This Oilers are a very intriguing place for Price to go...if he'd be willing to go there...which he may be actually... so this proposal..

Now would Philly, Hexy, consider this? There is no doubt Snider would have looked at any chance to get the best goalie in the NHL. The Flyers love Hart and he will be a stud keeper in the future...But will he ever be Carey Price? Price still has years left.. and Philly has the offense and D to support Price...
This is not a deal Hextall would seek out, but if Montreal called he would HAVE to think long and hard on this.
It is a deal that would help both teams.
Would the Flyers finally let someone else wear #31? That would be interesting as well.
