12:38 pm: BTW any Season Ticket holders that don't take advantage of this offer for Saturday's scrimmage are very, very foolish!

Season ticket holders get in FREE, have exclusive meet & greet with players, and enjoy a rink-side VIP Lounge!

9:31 am: Max Capuano is indeed Jack Capuano's nephew and Eric Boguniecki is the new Assistant Coach for the Sound Tigers.

7 am: They're getting ready for some off-ice physical testing. Prospect camp seems to be a little shorter this year than previous years, and with 41 attendees, it's going to be jam packed.

According to Newsday's Katie Strang's Twitter feed yesterday, Kirill Petrov will not attend due to family reasons and others have immigration issues.

Not only will all the youngsters be getting their first taste of life as an Islander, but the newest member of the Sound Tigers coaching staff will also be getting his feet wet.

Do you have your tickets yet for the Blue & White Scrimmage on Saturday? You should. First glimpse of your future NY Islanders. Personally I can't wait to see how Nino Niederreiter has grown along with Brock Nelson. After speaking with Matt Donovan at the Team Store signing, I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the ice. And of course, meeting Ryan Strome and that Mayfield kid for the first time is high on my priority list this week.

Oh, and if you missed it.... The $4 million list of repairs that was submitted to the Islanders landlord (Nassau County) has been approved. Does this mean that seats will be repaired? The roof won't leak? The tiles won't be broken? And best of all... THE ICE WILL BE BETTER????
