According to @reporterchris, #isles sale to Ledecky & Malkin was approved by NHL BOG today.
First they said there wouldn't be a vote. I guess they wanted to get it over with. Sale approved. And there you go.
The auditions continue tonight in Boston as the Isles face the Bruins on the NHL Network. The line-up may have some scratching their heads, but we do have a few more days of camp.

It will be interesting to watch Jack coach tonight and how he uses the CCM line. After all, these ARE The Bruins and things may get a little -- tense.
In other Islander news, the NHL BOG met today and one topic was the sale of the Islanders. While they discussed it, they will not be voting on it until later in the year. Perhaps because the Barroway lawsuit isn't clear yet either, or they just don't need to.
