QUICK HITS: JANUARY 20, 2017

1) With the Flyers' "bye week" coming to an end, the team will convene for a 4 p.m. practice at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ on Friday. It will be interesting to see how the lineups get adjusted yet again after the team suffered back-to-back blowout losses in Boston and Washington over the weekend. The New Jersey Devils pay a visit to the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night.

2) Flyers 2016 first-round pick German Rubtsov made his QMJHL debut for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Thursday night. Playing left wing on the top line, Rubtsov collected a pair of assists and recorded six shots on goal to earn third-star honors. Chicoutimi prevailed via shootout, 4-3. On Friday, Chicoutimi is on the road to take on the Saint John Seadogs, featuring Flyers forward prospect Samuel Dove-McFalls.

3) In a battle of the top two teams in American Hockey League's Atlantic Division, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms host the division-leading Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins at the PPL Center on Friday night. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The match is AHL Live's Game of the Week. The Phantoms trail the Penguins by nine points but hold three games in hand. Leaguewide, only the Penguins and the Central Division leading Grand Rapids Griffins hold superior records to the Phantoms' (25-10-2, 52 points) mark.

4) Flyers left wing prospect Oskar Lindblom scored his 11th goal of the season in a 4-3 overtime loss for Brynäs IF Gävle against Örebro HK on Thursday. Flyers goalie prospect Felix Sandström (20 saves on 24 shots) absorbed the loss. Lindblom is tied for 3rd in on the league scoring charts with 31 points in 35 games and is plus-14 (+30, -16) at even strength. His 11 goals are tied for 12th in the league.

5) Flyers Alum center Orest Kindrachuk will the latest Flyers Friday special guest at Santander Arena as the Reading Royals take on the Adirondack Thunder on Friday night. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. ET. Two-time Stanley Cup winner Kindrachuk will be signing free autographs in the Coke Lounge located near the staircase behind section 113/114.

6) Registration is open now for the third annual Flyers Alumni Fantasy Camp in Atlantic City. All proceeds go to benefit the charities and community organizations supported by the Flyers Alumni Association and Flyers Charities.
