Ahh, the smell of autumn in Uniondale NY. You can tell it is an Isles vs Rangers because I see more Ranger jerseys.
For the Isles: 4 dmen are out. A backup goalie is in net. Most of the kids aren't scoring. The news is wrought with issues about injury reports, swelling knees, and who gets more Isles ad dollars.
That's right, it's time for Sibling Rivalry: Live Blog edition
The Rangers are on a tear. Drury can't score, yet everyone else is on the Rangers. Lundquist and company are humming along.
But as any Isles and Ranger fans knows, anything can and will happen in these rivalry games. Best teams or those with the winning record can be easily left in the dust in these head to heads. That is one of the great things about the Rivalry. Doesn't matter who is better overall, just who is better in the next 60 minutes.
