Manny Legace will sign a professional tryout contract with the Chicago Wolves. I will give more details on the contract later today.
The Blues have placed veteran forward Derek Armstrong on waivers.
Captain Eric Brewer skated today for about 25 minutes but has yet to be cleared for contact. This was the first time Brewer has skated with his teammates since undergoing back surgery last season.
