The Blues are looking to shop D-man Carlo Colaiacovo who will be a unrestricted free Agent on July First.

Sources say GM Larry Pleau has notified every NHL GM that Colaiacovo is available via trade.

Actions often speak louder than words and with Colaiacovo's role somewhat reduced as of late it shouldn't come as a huge surprise to learn the Blues are looking to go in a different direction.

It doesn't take a genius to also understand the Blues are likely looking to move other future UFA's including Paul Kariya and D-man Mike Weaver.

Finding a team willing to take on the salary heading into the Olympic break could be a challenge.

On the flipside some buyers will want to make deals in advance of the Vancouver games to allow their newcomer to practice with his new team before NHL action resumes.

Brad Winchester, Cam Janssen, and Mike Weaver are apparently the healthy scratches heading into tonight's game in Colorado. BJ Crombeen, Darryl, and D.J. King return to the lineup.

I'll have more later, on the air till 6:00.

More to come,
