Kontinental Hockey League's final series game three was played in Moscow and the home CSKA took home their 1st win after an OT victory.

CSKA applied pressure a lot more than opposing AkBars team and Kirill Petrov was the first to score to put the Moscow team up 1-0. However, guests were quick to answer with two quick goals making it 2-1 by the end of the 1st period.

In the 2nd period Moscow team kept dominating and managed to recover and tie the game up, 2-2, Marchenko with the shot and Greg Scott with the redirect.

Towards the end of the game, neither side could score a goal to get the victory so it meant that for the first time in the series there was going to be OT. In which CSKA managed to take advantage of a terrible AkBars defense and get their win. The 73rd minute was the final one in the game as Kirill Petrov gave his team the victory also scoring his 2nd of the game. 3:2 the final score.
