For the first time since January 7th Matt Murray will be tending net for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Murray has been dealt a tough blow on a personal level after losing his father and tonight will be his first professional test since. In his absence Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith did a nice job holding things down.

It’s probable that the lineup will look the same as it did before the break. Ryan Reaves, Matt Hunwick, and Chad Ruhwedel were all on the ice longer than the others during today’s optional practice.

Other than that there’s really nothing else noteworthy to discuss until we have some hockey to watch.
