I did just get a text from a source saying “the Oilers are on the hunt for a d-man. They think they can get something done by the weekend. Likely with Philly or Columbus.”
He later texted...”the urgency is being driven by more than their performance. The D market is all buyers with a very few sellers. Montreal, Buffalo, Toronto, Florida, NJ, Wash, and Colorado are all actively looking to upgrade on the back end.”
