This season's never-ending saga has been the Vadim Shipachyov issues with the Vegas Golden Knights, due to their front office's incapability to manage their roster.

Earlier this week Russian center was assigned to Chicago of the AHL and Knights had given him permission to seek a trade with his agent. While they are at it, it's very obvious that Shipachyov has another option - The KHL.

Why wouldn't he explore it? A chance to get back to winning ways and money with SKA and of course granted roster spot on the Russia's Olympic squad.

Unfortunately for him, it looks like things won't go as simple as everyone would expect. Vadim and his camp have been in contact with KHL's powerhouse, but on Friday, SKA stepped up and made things clear - They are not allowed to talk with Vadim or his agent.

But then again, it's the KHL they do shady stuff and none can keep them away from finding ways to bring their hero back.
