Rumour...Teemu would join some other interesting new players on a new look flyers...if it happens don't expect it for a little while here...

The Rangers are taking Lundqvist to Arbitration...probably a good move given today's events...

There is word from a source in Phoenix that the Oilers and Coyotes may be working on a deal for tomorrow...IT'S SATURDAY GUYS!!!!

UPDATE 3:51

THE GREAT KID

from a source, "The Crosby negotiations are going very well and Sidney has shown from the start that he believes in the Pens and where they are going. A big part of this deal has to do with Sid wanting to know for fact that Staal and Malkin are going to be in Pitt long term."

I have to say, I TRULY don't admire many hockey players, but I do really admire Crosby. I have met the kid, and he is a kid, a few times now and I am truly impressed. He obviously has been raised right and is very comfortable with his place in hockey. Which I would think would be a very difficult spot to be in.

ISLANDERS CONTINUE

Onto the Islanders...maybe don't count them out of the Souray sweeps yet...I am hearing the Isles have their target firmly set on one of four d-men. Three of them are via trade, and one is a UFA.
