Can the Avalanche match their season high for consecutive wins -- two -- Thursday at the Pepsi Center? They'll try against a New Jersey Devils team that has lost eight games in a row (0-6-2).
The Devils have been shut out in back-to-back games and in three of their past four.
Here are the
GAME NOTES.
The Avalanche will use the same lineup they did Tuesday in their 3-1 win against Carolina.
The Avalanche haven't won two consecutive games since defeating Winnipeg on Feb. 4 and Montreal on Feb.7.
"We want to get some consistency going," goalie
Calvin Pickard said. "We know where we're at right now, and it's not where we want to be, but there's nothing we can do about it now. We just have to look forward and play our game and get some confidence going into next year."
The Avalanche lineup:
FORWARDS

Sven Andrighetto -- Matt Duchene -- Mikko Rantanen
John Mitchell -- J.T. Compher -- Blake Comeau
Mikhail Grigorenko -- Carl Soderberg -- Matt Nieto
