As I have stated many times here on HockeyBuzz , I am a YouTube junkie. This issue I have is only compounded by my insomnia just beating the hell out of me.That means lots of surfing the net at 3am, Entourage DVD fests, and Ron and Fez replays on XM keeping a smile on my face.
Maybe I should hold a HockeyBuzz Insomnia Chat soon? Any takers?

Anyway, while lurking around YouTube I got an inspiration to seek out some Pavel Bure footage.
You see, Pavel has always been one of my all time favorite players - no one..and I mean NO ONE..had the ability like Pavel to just turn on the jets and break away from a pack of defenders.
Allow me to give you the goods and check it out for yourself...Time to go to school

You would hear the stories, but it was rare (in Philadelphia or anywhere on the east coast)that you saw this magic when it happened. No internet, no YouTube...you would read about it and maybe buy or trade VHS hilite tapes with other fans.

The YouTube videos made me break open "Pavel Bure-The Riddle Of The Russian Rocket" again. It is one of my favorite books and I think Kerry Banks does an awesome job walking you thru Bure's time in Vancouver, his relationship with his father, the Russian Mafia and Bure's connection (or lack of connection). Just a good read on one of my favorite players.

So, I'd love to hear from fans and their feelings on the Russian Rocket ...Florida, Ranger, and Canuck fans...It's the Pavel Bure Appreciation Blog.
