Ahhh… okay. So a new Isles ownership is one step closer to coming up with the insane amount of $400 million. While this may bring cheers from some fans who have been clamoring for new ownership, just remember the old adage: The Devil you know may be a lot better than the Devil you don’t.

And back on Long Island, tickets to the Islanders Draft Party are now available for June 27th at the Coliseum. This will be the final one held there the way the building is now, so you may want to make arrangements to attend. Besides, they are always fun and this year Eric Boulton, Calvin de Haan, Anders Lee, Matt Martin and Ryan Strome will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures. There are also great bargains to be had as well.
Last year, for some reason, my daughter’s friend came away with Josh Bailey’s gloves. I don’t know why she needed them, but she had to have them. Go figure.
So, it’s Monday. The start of a new work week and news week. Let’s see who will get fired/hired/signed or hurt this week.
