Guerin Headed West?

It is believed to be Anaheim and San Jose battling it out for Bill Guerin. Both clubs are apparently offering at minimum a player and a first round pick.

I would not rule out Detroit.

Guerin still has not been approached by the Blues regarding any trades. His agent did speak with the organization early this morning. No real discussions involving contract negotiations have taken place. Both sides will speak again today.

Guerin is open to anything.

Nothing new on the Jamal Mayers front as well. A source does tell me the Blues are asking for a second round pick and a prospect in exchange for Mayers. Several teams are interested in Mayers who will be unrestricted this summer, but are scared off by the Blues hefty price tag.

Peter Cajanek has been placed on waivers. Peter was shocked when he received the news and has no clue what is going on. The Blues have been shopping him around for a few weeks, Cajanek is signed through the end of next season and the Blues are looking to unload his 1.7 million dollar salary.

More to Come,
