The Isles Tweeted out some astonishing news: While we were sleeping, Michael Grabner scored a Hat Trick for team Austria. They lost to team Finland in an 8 - 4 final, but the news itself was shocking.

Shocking because it was Tuuka Rask in net for Finland. So the same man who can't find the back of the net 90% of the time managed three goals in his first game at these Olympics. Color me stunned.

Rask made only 16 saves while Austrian goalie Bernhard Starkbaum made 48 saves. THAT is a lopsided effort.

Sad to hear that Teemu Selanne left the game after the first period with an upper-body injury. He is one of the greatest players ever in the NHL. He is expected to return for Finland's next game against Norway. I hope so.

Meanwhile team USA beat the Slovakians by a score of 7-1 or something like that. Rediculous. And Russia beat the Slovenia 5-2 in Slovenia's first ever Olympic contest.
