"THINGS I HEARD TODAY"
(according to sources)......(oh mighty sources)

Phoenix and Buffalo are (and check out this mysteriously vague quote)"definitely talking about a possible deal." Depending on who you believe there are many scenarios with one possibly being Biron and Kotalik for Joseph and Morris....I will of course stay on this one all night if I have to...:)

Also word out of Columbus is that Zherdev and Modin are now likely to NOT be dealt prior to the deadline....Carter and Berard likely will be.

Despite talks with St. Louis and Brewer continuing, word is that the Leafs, Wild, Penguins, and Rangers have all made recent inquiries about the Team Canada D-Man.

Marco Sturm has still NOT signed a deal as the Canucks and Wild wait idly by...

Also, I got to hear some of the cool (secret) stuff that we will be doing when I join the Sportsnet crew in Toronto on Tuesday from 10am to 6pm for the Big Trade Deadline TV Show. I have to give Sportsnet a ton of credit. They are doing some truly unique things with the show and I feel it will be the fastest eight hours in television.
