Look for Vinny Lecavalier back in the Flyers lineup Thursday when their schedule resumes against the Rangers.

Don't look for Scott Hartnell. He sounds as if he is still a week away and that is on target as part of his 2-4 week recovery.

They skated Sunday for the first time at Skate Zone. Both were injured Oct. 11 against Phoenix.

Lecavalier has a lower body injury that sounds like a groin or abdominal injury based on him saying "tightness" down there while Hartnell has an upper body injured believed to be in the rib cage based on his "stabbing pain" and not denying he may need to wear upper body protection.

"Hopefully, I will play on Thursday," Lecavalier said. "I just got to be careful … I gotta make sure everything is good and strong enough to make sure I can play. It’s looking really good right now.”

He was supposed to miss and week and is now past his target date so he should play. Hartnell was slated to miss 2-4 weeks and is on his rehab schedule.

"My first time skating," Hartnell said, adding he was winded and still having gingerly movements on the ice, turning side to side. "I’m not anywhere near 100 percent."

Hartnell was hurting turning on the ice without contact against Phoenix; Lecavalier got tangled up with Antoine Vermette and felt something "weird inside."
