The Buffalo Sabres are getting offense from their kids in the exhibition season, which will bode well for the regular season which begins in Detroit on Wednesday night.


The Sabre kids lead the NHL in rookie goal production during the exhibition season to the tune of 11 goals from an NHL-leading 7 different rookies.

Not too shabby, eh?

These kids are better than alright.


By lighting the lamp, the prospects are sending direct messages to GM Darcy Regier that they are ready to carry the production in the NHL.


Zemgus Girgensons has scored 3 goals and added an assist in 4 games played.

Mikhail Grigorenko has scored 2 goals and added 2 assists in 6 games played

Marcus Foligno has scored 3 goals and added an assist in 3 games played.

Jhonas Enroth has led the Sabres goaltenders with 154 minutes played, registering a 1.95 goals against average and .932 save percentage through parts of three games, going 1-0-1 with a shutout.
