The Vancouver Canucks are close to re-signing the two faces of their franchise.

Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini told The Vancouver Province that the Sedins twins - Daniel and Henrik - are nearing an agreement on contract extensions that will keep them members of the Canucks for the foreseeable future.

While no extensions have been reached yet, both sides are working hard to get a deal done, according to Elliotte Friedman of CBC.

The 32-year-old twins have combined for almost 1,600 career points in 1,846 games.
