Hal Gill has signed a Professional Tryout Agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers. I spoke with Hal over the phone and he was really happy to get a chance to make the team in training Camp. "I'm excited for the chance to prepare and play with a great organization. I'm thankful to the Flyers for giving me this opportunity."

I also spoke with Mikkel Boedker who signed a 2 year deal with the Phoenix Coyotes today for $2.55 Million per year. "It's been a long hard road over the summer but my agents and I are pleased with the agreement we got. I'm really happy to be a Coyote for at least 2 more years. Things are exciting there, we have a great group of guys and the GM & Coaches have added some nice pieces. I'm so happy and excited about the future for myself, the Coyotes and the Fans!"
