Today the Islanders announced that single game tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, September 3rd. If you are a season ticket holder and would like to help out a fan-friend, STHs will have a pre-sale beginning on August 27th.

The pricing for the single game tickets for the first half of the season is not complete yet, but will be prior to 9/3. This actually seems a little late in the summer as I recall some fun Saturday mornings late in August watching the faithful stand in line waiting for the box office to open. There were players and even the Isles GM mulling around the plaza as fans started planning their hockey schedules.

Since the 9/3 is the day that many kids go back to school, I don't believe this will be an actual event. But on 9/4, you can head down to the team store from 6 - 7:30 pm and meet Colin McDonald.

McDonald will be signing autographs and the first 150 are guaranteed to get one. You can pick up your game tickets then and maybe even some Islander school supplies.

Also, Welcome Aboard Dan Petriw! I look forward to reading & working with you covering all things Islanders!

Sideboard: Below is the video of the only Islander representative at the NEC presser, Matt Martin. I would just like you to notice that he said they would love to win a cup in the existing arena within the next two years. Wouldn't that be a kick-in-the-rear Nassau?
