A few weeks ago the New Jersey Devils signed Jaromir Jagr to a one-year deal, and it appears this season will be his last.

Jagr made a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday that suggested he'll hang up his skates and retire from the NHL after the 2013-14 season.

Jagr, 41, signed a one-year deal worth $2 million that could pay up to $4 million if he earns his bonus for games played.

There's been rumors that Jagr will return to Europe and play for the team he owns for a season or two after retiring from the NHL, though that's just speculation at this point.

The future Hall of Famer has 1,688 points in 1,391 regular season games.

Jagr is just 19 goals away from 700 for his career and 12 points away from 1,700. If he stays healthy this year, he should be able to reach both milestones.

It'll be interesting to follow Jagr and the Devils this season, especially if this is his last year in the NHL.
