Worst idea in human history.
Ilya Bryzgalov's agent Ritch Winter was on lunchtime radio show Oilers Now with Bob Stauffer. He said Bryz would be open to signing in Edmonton.
Really? Wasn't he trashing the place making jokes a few years ago?
This isn't about money. $1mil per season...$2mil per season...Who cares?
The Oilers have been in the process of cleaning out the locker room of lazy players, attitude problems and head cases. And you want to bring Bryzgalov, who might be all three, in?
Get bent.
I'd rather re-sign Nikolai Khabibulin. I'm not even joking. At least with Khabibulin, we'd know what to expect. He didn't have an attitude problem in the room.
Seriously, if our best option is Bryzgalov, we might as well skip ahead to the 2014/2015 season where we know a number of clowns will be off the books. Between Horcoff discussions and Bryzgalov talk, the local media is killing me already this summer. Please stop.
