9:07 pm: tied at four in the third. No bandwidth means no updates until I'm home.
6:49 pm:
I do believe that's the 'real sign guy' down by the benches!

We Came to Win - Josh Bailey sign on Twitpic1:44 pm: Looks like I'm hearing that Orpik and Neal will be in the Pens line-up tonight. Looks like Jack has his work cut out for him.

"They've carried the play a little bit more. They've had more zone time. They're coming hard, but we've hurt ourselves with turnovers." - Sidney Crosby

"We have to get ourselves back into the series again. We did it before. We're still at home. We enjoy playing here. We'd love to get one for our crowd." - John Tavares

"We just have to come out and make sure that we're ready to play in Game 4 tonight." - Kyle Okposo

Just make it hard on them. The Isles can win this game. They can.

7 am: The Isles may be relentless but the Penguins have too much skill to let them gain the main advantage. Jack Capuano spent yesterday’s practice time working on better penalty kill situations. But he also worked on instilling the idea of NOT ending up in the situation in the first place.

Travis Hamonic said that didn’t mean giving up on the physical play. “When we have an opportunity to be tough on them and hit them, we need to be hard in the corners and grind them down,” they just have to do it the ‘right’ way. Read: Don’t play into retaliatory penalties and keep the hits as clean as possible. Play smart.

I really loved Josh Bailey’s quote to Art Staple, “We’re not here to try and hang with them and go home having put up a good fight. We’re here to win.”

While we are all happy the Islanders have just made it to the dance, they want to be there for last call. If they cannot find a way to win tonight, their hopes of seeing a new playoff opponent will be very, very dim.

Yesterday morning, Penguin’s Neal and Orpik skated in the optional practice. Does that mean they may be in the line-up tonight? We won’t know until much later today.

Will Jack Capuano make any changes today? Perhaps giving one of the Bridgeport taxi squad a chance to hit the ice with youthful exuberance? Maybe. Again, we’ll have to wait until much later to find out.

For now, we just have to watch the clock until we can make our way to the Coliseum for another Fan Fest in the parking lot which will start at 5 pm.

Apparently the rally towels tonight will be blue:
