Enroth was pressed into mop-up duty in the third period of Thursday's 5-1 loss to Montreal.
Today, the net was his and he owned Philadelphia.
The Super Swede clutched up in a game his team could not afford to lose. The Sabres had been brutally bad and were outscored 9-2 in back to back losses to Winnipeg and Montreal earlier this week.
This game was a must-win for the Sabres.

Enroth made hearts stop late in the third period when his Dman Mark Pysyk inadvertently wiped him out. The impact cause Enroth head and neck discomfort. Th etrainer was summoned to Enroth's crease to assess the situation. Enroth was none the worse for wear and courageously finished the sterling game that he had started.
Danny Briere hit the goalpost with 2 seconds remaining in regulation.

Rookie Chad Ruhwedel logged 13 minutes TOI in his first NHL game. He signed a two year entry level contract two hours before faceoff.
