The Sabres survived in last night's victory. If it weren't for Ryan Miller, they wouldn't have won that game. The Devils were all over Buffalo and took almost 40 shots on goal. The Sabres may not have deserved the win, but they got it.

One thing I noticed over the past couple of home games is that the crowd has really been into it. The games were not sellouts, but the crowd was loud. The Sabres have been playing better as of late and I think the fans appreciate the honest effort. It's nice when the team actually tries and it pays off, as opposed to how most of the season has went.

So, with three wins in a row, what will Buffalo do from here? Can they keep winning?

The Sabres will have a big matchup against Winnipeg tomorrow night.

"We have to go up into one of the harder buildings in the league on Tuesday against a team who is fighting for its lives to get in, so we have to understand that and we have to be ready," Rolston said.

Both teams could move closer to that cutoff line. For the Jets, the still have a shot at the division. Their only downfall is that they played more games than almost everyone.

The Rangers are in Toronto tonight and the Islanders are hosting Philadelphia on Tuesday. What the Sabres need to do is creep closer to the Islanders and get into a position where that final game matters. Buffalo hosts the Isles on April 26th, their last game, and if they keep winning, they can make it mean something.

As fans, we'll take this one game at a time. If the Sabres can get four of the next six points, then I don't think playoffs are out of the question.

Let's do another mailbag. Submit your Sabres related questions and I will answer some of them this week.
