PREVIEW 6:30 AM CDT

In the third match of a five-game homestand, the Dallas Stars (15-14-3) will play the second of two successive games against the Minnesota Wild (20-10-2) in a rematch of Monday's game at the American Airlines Center. Tonight's game starts at 7:30 p.m. CDT and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Southwest.

This is the third and final meeting between the teams. On Jan. 20, the Stars received a strong NHL debut from goaltender Cristopher Nilstorp but were unable to get him any goal support, going down to a 1-0 defeat. On Monday, the Stars led early and the game was tied 4-4 in the third period but the Wild pulled away to win, 7-4.

Minnesota has been the hottest team in the Western Conference of late. They are riding a seven-game winning streak heading into tonight and have racked up 20 of a possible 22 points in their last 10 games.

On the Stars injury front, Ryan Garbutt (hand, IR) remains out of the lineup. For the Wild, Mike Rupp (lower body) is doubtful while backup goalie Josh Harding (illness) is out.
