The Maple Leafs 2013 Schedule has been released, with the new CBA officially going into effect.

Toronto begins and ends the season as they traditionally have the last few seasons against the Montreal Canadiens. The season opener will be at the Bell Centre on Saturday, January 19th at 7pm and the last game will be at the Air Canada Center on Saturday, April 27th.

The home opener will be on Monday, January 21 against the division rival Buffalo Sabres.
Toronto faces the Canadian cities(Montreal and Ottawa) in the Northeast Division five times and the American cities(Buffalo and Boston) four times. Montreal plays at the ACC three times and the Leafs play three times in Ottawa.

January is almost equally split, with three games at home and four on the road, but February is decidedly heavy with games away from home, with nine road games and only six in Toronto, while March is the opposite, with nine games at the ACC and five games on the road. April is equally split six games home and away.

The longest road trip in the over three month schedule is three games, one in early February(Washington, Winnipeg, Montreal) and the other in the last week of the season(Ottawa, Tampa, Florida), while Toronto's longest homestand is in mid-March against Pittsburgh, Winnipeg and Tampa.

Quirks in the schedule:

Playing Buffalo twice in the first ten days of the season.

Facing Sidney Crosby and the Penguins two times at the ACC within five days(March 9 & March 14)
