I'm Back! Did you miss me?

Probably not, seeing as there isn't much going on right now and half the people who read my blog usually don't like it.

Oh well, unlike NHL players who are sitting at home moping, I will attempt to entertain you all for a few minutes on this awesome Friday, when nobody wants to work anyways.

Without the Canucks playing right now today, I thought is may be fun to reminisce and go over the top-five Canucks game from last season.

5- Toronto- Feb. 18- 6-2 Vancouver

Maybe not one of the better games, but it's always fun to beat the Leafs. Burrows and the Sedins combined for 10 points and put on a Globetrotters-like performance. That kind of a show is worth a second look.

4- Nashville- Dec 1- 6-5 Nashville

Nashville games in the past were the one you wanted to avoid as a fan unless you were looking for something to help you sleep. Last year's tilts between the two teams were great, but the 6-5 loss was the best one in my opinion. Rinne and Schneider chased early and Luongo and Lindback dueled after that. Fire wagon hockey at its finest.

3- Edmonton- Oct 15- 4-3 Vancouver

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was brilliant against his hometown team and Vancouver snuck out with a come-from-behind win, thanks to a Salo blast in the third.

2- Boston- Jan. 7- 4-3 Vancouver

A game that was more than just a game – this was a war. Vancouver went into Boston, on a lovely Saturday morning, and played one of the most memorable games of the season. It's a shame CBC or TSN didn't show some imaginative thinking and broadcast the game so more people could watch. I still remember picking up the grainy Internet feed and everyone who is anyone in the hockey world calling it the best game the NHL has had in a while.

1- Detroit- Feb. 23- 4-3 Vancouver (SO)

The streak is dead. On this night did Vancouver not only halt the Wings 23-game home winning streak, they played the most entertaining game of the 11/12 season. Daniel Sedin scores with 15 seconds left to tie it and Alex Burrows wins it in the shootout.

Well those are my top-5 games from last year, what were yours?

Well that's a wrap for today.
