Three months from tonight marks the opening of the 2012-2013 Buffalo Sabres season. What am I supposed to do without hockey?....How about watch more hockey?!
The NHL Network will be re-airing games nine games, all of which will be shown on Saturday, in two hour spans. One of them is the Sabres/Leafs game from April 3rd.
Other games include Sam Gagner's eight point night, a 9-8 Jets win over Philadelphia and Mike Smith's 54 save shutout.
It's still crazy to think the amount of talent the Sabres could have had if they didn't match the offer for Thomas Vanek. It would've been four 1st round picks, and just think of all the young players the Oilers have right now.
Media reports out of Buffalo say Zemgus Girgensons will decide sometime today whether to sign with the Sabres or go to the University of Vermont.
