Kimmo Timonen, whose back is better but not 100 percent, will return to the Flyers lineup tonight.
Also coming back is Jakub Voracek (concussion).
In an effort to get Danny Briere going, coach Peter Laviolette will put Eric Wellwood and Voracek on a new line with Briere.
Timonen is expected to work with Matt Carle on the blue line as Lavy seemed reluctant to split Braydon Coburn from Nicklas Grossmann at the morning skate.
One thing I thought was interesting was that Timonen says now that his Iron Man streak is history, the next time he thinks he needs a rest, he's going to take it.
“It’s a tough thing,” he said. “You don’t want to miss games. I played 3 1/2 years not missing a game. I knew it was going to happen. I’m excited to be back.”
