If today's practice lineup is any indication, Weber should be in the starting lineup on Wednesday nigfht when Philly rolls into Buffalo.
Lindy Ruff has replaced Marc Andre Gragnani on the Buffalo PP point with Derek Roy.
Tyler Myers and Roy manned the pints on the first unit, while Jordan Leopold and Christian Ehrhoff cruised the points for the second PP unit.
Gragnani has not scored yet this season, and has only assisted on three goals. He's a +3.
In seven Playoff games vs. the Philadelphia Flyers last April, Gragnani scored his first NHL career goal and added 6 assists.
Lindy Ruff was hoping that Grags would pick up this season where he left off at the end of this season. Ten games into this new season, Ruff is still patiently waiting for the point production to happen.
Weber has been a healthy scratch for Buffalo's first 10 games this season. He's been a good soldier by biding his time and keepiing his mouth shut about his unhappiness related to being the odd man out.
Weber calls his stint in street clothes a "character builder"
Thanks,sabres.com
Weber won't impress anyone with toe-drags and end-to-end rushes. His value to his team is carving the ankles and tail bones of opponents with his stick.
Here's Lindy's post practice presser, courtesy Buffalo Sabres.
I'm a big fan of subtracting Grags' skill, and the pugnacity of Weber.
What do you thnk?

The Sabres PP is ranked 8th (21.9% and 25% at home) in the NHL.
Philly's PK is ranked 18th overall.
Brad Boyes has two PPGs in his past two games, and he was joined on the first PP unit today by Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville. Tyler Myers and Derek Roy patrolled the points.
Drew Stafford, Ville Leino, Luke Adam, Jordan Leopold, and Christian Ehrhoff comprised the second PP unit.
Lindy Ruff said today that he gave his goalies their assignments earlier this week. I expect Miller to play vs. Philly and Calgary. Enroth will get the Ottawa game as its the second game of the back-to-backer.
I like the matchup of Super Swede golaies in Jhonas Enroth and Robin Lehner.
