North Dakota forward and Montreal prostect, Danny Kristo, has frostbite on toes on his right foot and is out indefinitely.

The injury was sustained on Sunday night while walking near campus and Kristo is being treated at Regions Hospital in St Paul.

I'll let you know if I hear anything more.

In other news, I am traveling to Oxford this weekend to see the RedHawks take on the Wolverines in a two game series. It's an important weeks since a) it's a strong rivalry b) Miami is looking to catch Michigan in the standings and c) it will mark the one year anniversary of Brendan Burke's passing. It will be an emotional weekend for the Miami hockey family to say the least.

After that, I'm heading to Boston for a week to take in the Beanpot semi-finals on Monday night. I'm staying in the area the rest of the week with stops at Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern, Harvard, Merrimack and, if I'm lucky, UMass. If all goes as planned, I'll even be able to squeeze in some Bruins coverage.

PS: If you're looking for a fun follow on twitter, I highly suggest Edmonton forward and Miami alum, Ryan Jones. He reactivated his account last week and has posted a lot of fun tidbits.

The NHL All Star Fantasy Draft is a keeper!
