The Islanders have claimed Nabokov...
So the Islanders have taken a player they CAN NOT trade, who they could have signed long ago, when it would have mattered to perhaps make them competitive.
The Islanders...who aren't in the playoffs, aren't going to be in the playoffs, have already begun selling off their team.
The Islanders....who aren't competing with the Red Wings, so they aren't trying to keep him from the Red Wings....
Did Ken Holland call Garth when he learned the Sharks would take Nabokov and cash in a favor?
