I have to keep today's blog short, because today is a travel day for me. The Flyers put forth an uneven, but ultimately succesful effort last night in Atlanta. Any time you play three times in four nights -- especially when the entire stretch is on the road -- you worry about the team's legs and ability to carry their energy through three periods. The Flyers answered the bell in the final stanza last night, and deserve kudos for it.

The loss in Boston the previous night still stings a little bit, but the win in Atlanta showed that this Flyers team usually bounces back quickly. With a win in Madison Square Garden tomorrow, the Flyers will conclude this stretch of 9 of 10 games on the road with 7 wins. Even with a loss, the trip was a success but they have a chance to make it a resounding one.
