The Big Bang Continues

The only concern I have going into Game 1 vs Les MIserables is ... the officials.

Are the officials going to allow the two teams to play like they did in the Flyers-Bruins series? Or are they going to attempt to ruin it like they did in the Flyers-Jerseys series.

Kimmo Timonen was keeping positive on that subject this morning.

If they let them bang 'n crash ... it favors the Flyers in this series.

“That is the way it should be,” Timonen said. “This time of year, let the players decide the game. Obviously, if there is hooking and holding, you have to call it that way. But it should be less penalties, the better game.

“Hopefully, they let us play hard because that is our style. I am sure they will. That is going to be the case. Not taking stupid penalties. Montreal’s power play is really good. Forecheck and be disciplined are the two keys for us.”

Scott Hartnell and Dan Carcillo promise there will be ... hitting.
